Awwwwwww!
We can't be too upset with the loss of our purple cabbage. My daughter and I saw a doe hanging out in the pasture next to the garden with the cutest, most adorable little fawn!! It is so tiny!!! A shiny brown with bright white spots covering it's back!!!

A nice steady rain here over night and this morning.
Boy, I am really glad to see that I am not the only one who recognizes the deer's right to exist and eat. I always try to plant enough for them too.
ReplyDeleteMy home is in an urban environment that was all woods when we moved in. The wildlife has no place to go. We put protective fencing around the plants as they develop and spray with hot pepper spray; but the deer still eat some of the garden.
